I am trying to access a project in Jira but it doesn't show up in my projects. The project manager has me assigned to the project but I cant access it now. I had been able to access it previously.

Thank you

Hi Jim - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Check with your project manager to see if your project role has changed or if the permission scheme for the project has changed.

Hi Jim,

If you were able to access the project before but can’t see it now, here are a few things to check:

1. Check Your Permissions
It's possible your permissions were changed. Ask the project admin to double-check that you still have the right Project Role or Group Access assigned.

2. Use Direct Link
If you have a direct link to an issue or the project, try opening it. If it says “You don’t have permission,” that confirms it’s a permission issue.

3. Check If the Project Was Archived
Sometimes projects are archived, which makes them disappear from the project list. The admin can check and unarchive it if needed.

4. Try Different Browser or Clear Cache
Rarely, display issues can happen. Try another browser or clear your browser cache and log in again.

Hope this helps! Let us know if it gets resolved.
