Hi Team, We have Jira software installed in a separate server and Service desk installed in a separate server. SSL is installed in the server 1 where jira-software is present and SSL is not installed in server 2 where service desk is present. Application link from Service desk to jira-software does not work as it gives a network error with the following error message. Your Jira-Software may be using a self-signed SSL certificate or a certificate that was issued by a certificate authority that isn't known locally. But the application link from JIRA-software to JIRA service desk is working fine. This is causing a show stopper for us as we need to create issue links. Your earliest response would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
typically in $CONFLUENCE_HOME/lib/security/cacerts
add your certificate to the java used by the service desk.

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Following is the error message.
"Your Jira-Software may be using a self-signed SSL certificate or a certificate that was issued by a certificate authority that isn't known locally"
To your other question, the certificate is self-signed.

Hi,
"with the following error message"
You didn't add the message. Apart of that it would make your text more readable if you entered a linebreak or two.
A guess: most likely this is cause by not adding the certificate to the truststore of your Service desk. But that depends on the certificate you use. Is it self-signed or issued by an authority?
