Challenges while creating New Boards

Hi,

We are using Jira cloud and when creating a new board getting some issues.

Below are the steps

1) Search --> Boards

2) Crete Board button at the top right hand corner

3) Create a board -> Kanban Board 

4) Create a board -> Board from an existing project --> Next

5) Can name the board but the Project drop down is empty!

Also, the location dropdown is empty. It only allows me to create private boards only! I would like this board be availalbe for the team.

Noticing similar issue  when creating new board with "Board from existing filter" option as well!

Note: Originally project was created as 'next-gen project'. If this is the issue, is there a way to convert this into Kanban project?

Hi Chetan,

No, you can't have multiple boards for the same Next-gen project. You can follow this guidance to migrate a project from Next-gen to Classic if you want.
