Hello!
I’d like to switch our team plan from Premium to Free.
I’m currently managing a project in its early stages and wasn’t aware of the billing rules. I didn’t realize how to access the Free plan without upgrading to Premium. I initially used the plan assuming it was a trial version.
Could you please assist me in downgrading to the Free plan without incurring further charges?
Hello @Алексей Юманов
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
While your initial subscription may have been a free trial of the Premium plan, when the trial expired you would've been automatically shifted to the paid version of the Premium plan.
This documentation provides the details concerning how to downgrade a subscription.
Note that there are elements of the functionality that you will no longer be able to use if you downgrade from the paid Premium plan to the Free plan. The Plans (Advanced Roadmaps Plans) feature and customizing Permissions and Roles are not available in the Free plan. Additionally there is a limitation on how many emails can be sent in a time period. And, no more than 100 Automation Rule executions are available per month. Also, you can have no more than 10 users in the Free plan. For more information refer to:

Hello again!
I don’t see the “Change Plan” button because my current plan is inactive.
Currently, I see two possible solutions to resolve this:
Create a new account and transfer all tasks and documents to it.
Pay for the subscription (this isn’t ideal for us, as we’re still in the early stages).
Could you confirm if there’s a better way to reactivate or switch plans without starting over?
Thanks

Hello,
In your first image, there is a link on the right side that should translate to "Manage subscription". if you click on this:
...do you get a new screen that lists your subscriptions with the Change Plan option shown?
Unfortunately I do not speak the language to which you system is set, and I don't have a tool for translating text in images, so it is difficult for me to determine what your screens actually say.

Unfortunately, there is no Change button. The only active button is Reactivate, and proceeding further leads to a payment page with no option to switch to the Free Plan.
I’m following the instructions on this page and trying to resolve the issue displayed on the screen.
Text on screen says: "Failed to add the product. To add Jira, contact your administrator."
But Im administrator.

Thank you for that additional information.
It sounds like what happened was that after your Premium trial expired you entered a period where you were being charged for use, and you passed a billing date for that use without paying. If you don't pay for the product, it gets deactivated.
The product will need to be reactivated and you will need to pay for the time during which you used it after the trial expired.
If you are unable to enter the billing information, I recommend that you contact the billing team for help. You can do that through this page:

After paying for your past usage, you should be able to downgrade to the Free plan.
