Change all Components to default unassigned

Hi,

I have many components in my Project and the default assignee in all is defined to be  the Component Lead. 

Is there a way to "bulk change" all of the components to be unassigned? 

I know I can do it one by one but that will be the last resort.

I don't want to use automation every time a ticket is created.

Hi @Dd ,

I am not aware of a way to update the default assignees for all your components. However, if I understand correctly, all your components are in a single project and it seems created issues are assigned to the component lead. 

You can set your issues to unassigned by default by going to project settings > details and set the default assignee to unassigned instead of component lead. That may be an easier fix for the problem you are trying to solve than updating all your components.

Sadly, no.

We were using the Component Lead but now for a duration, we would like them unassigned. 

I guess if there's no solution - I'll change them one-by-one.
