Hi. When i create create issue from kanban board, i can select issue type availables for my project, but icon is too small and maybe people select by mistake another type than required.
When put a text open another window and not let me change issue type
Is there a way to control the issue type behavior in kanban board and in the additional screen that appear?
If I create from Create from top botton the behavior its correct let change Issue Type.
I need to simplify the use of the functionality for the user.

I tried it on the company managed, was able to change the issue type with no issues. Could it be due to localization?

What type of project does this concern? Get that information from the Projects list which can be accessed from Projects > More Projects > View All Projects.
I was testing the same functionality in a Team Managed Software project with a Kanban board, and did not have the experience of not being able to change the work type when the Create pop-up appeared.

Hi Trudy, when i start with JIRA i defined Team Managed projects buts our reality is for all the projects and the needs of my company, we start setup new projects as company-managed.

I have now been able to recreate your issue.
It appears to be related specifically to Business type projects, both Company Managed and Team Managed, and only when the issue is created by clicking the +Create option from a column on the board. Also there must be a field set as Required, besides the Summary field, in order for the pop up to be displayed at all.
If the blue Create button at the top of the screen is used, then the Create dialog is display and the user is free to select any available issue type.
I have not found the issue document in Atlassian's public backlog.
I recommend that you open a support case directly with Atlassian for additional investigation and to find out if this issue has already been documented. It would be great if you report back here what you learn from them.
