Change issue status manually when moving between projects

Hi,

I am new to Jira administration, I have created two projects with different workflow as indicated below. When moving an issue from project 2 to 1, I want an option to select the status instead of the automatic status change.

Project one (Scrum)

• Backlog
• Selected for Development
• In Progress
• Ready for Testing
• Reopened
• Testing
• Done
• Rejected

Project two (Kanban)

• Backlog
• Selected for Development
• In progress
• Done
• Rejected

Hi! I'm not sure this is possible, since both your workflows share status Jira will automatically make this status mapping, if the second workflow had different status then it will ask you to manually make this mapping.

Ah, I see. Thanks a lot. Perhaps I should think of changing the workflow statuses for project two then.
