Change of project owner not possible as dropdown is empty

When trying to change the project owner, I type in a character, but the dropdown shows always "no results" but I am site admin and jira admin...

What can I do?

Hi Daniel,

Do you mean the "Project Lead" field under the details section of project settings here:

Or are you looking somewhere else?  If its not the project lead let me know where you're looking with a screenshot if possible.

If its the system Project Lead field check to make sure you have the "Browse users and groups" global permission as covered here:

• Managing global permissions

If you do not have this permission user picker fields require the full username to be entered manually and do not autocomplete.
