Change status when in edit mode

After clicking "edit" in an issue I can edit all fields. ut I can't change the status. Is there any way I can make that possible?

No. Status is not a field, it's a display of where you are in the workflow. You need to push an issue through a workflow transition in order for status to change, and that's not a simple "edit" type activity.
