Change system field environment

Hi, 

After upgrading to Jira 7.8 the systemfield Environment has changed to multi-line. This is very confusing for some users and they use Environment as Description. 

Is there any way to change this filed back to a single line?

Um.  Environment has always been a multi-line text box.

If it wasn't for you, then I'd suspect that your upgrade has wiped out whatever customisation you made to make it single line.  Probably the .vm file that renders the "edit" mode.
