Change the Status to another Status based on Time

JiRA,

If my status has been in Resolved for more than 2 days, I want to change the status to Closed. 

How do I best do that in JIRA? Also, with your option, tell me if it adds more load on JIRA.

You should also be able to do this with the Script Runner Plugin, as an alternative, if Jelly is less "charming" for you.

The extra load will not be noticeable, unless you have a tens of thousands of issues that match the criteria (unlikely).

Take a look at Jelly Escalation, used by Atlassian. Nope, it shouldn't add much load.
