Change the address of jira site.

Can anybody tell if it's possible to change the address from https://CURRENTCOMPANYNAME.atlassian.net/ to https://NEWCOMPANYNAME.atlassian.net/ ?

As you are using Jira cloud this is not possible, you can find more info here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/changing-the-cloud-instance-url-address-or-migrating-to-a-new-cloud-instance-691011835.html

The only suitable option is to buy a new instance (new url) and export / import your data between instances.

Thanks for the quick reply. Seems unfortunate that the ticket for this functionality has been created already quite some time ago. Also our Jira project has too many things added to spend time migrating everything for the sake of a name change. Thanks anyways, will have to just hope they will implement it at some point in future.

Atlassian can now do this - you need to raise a support call with them with the new name you want
