Change the date/time format when exporting to Excel

When I export the excel, I can see date and time in date column. can we configure it to the only date ?. See attached screenshot

Hi @RamithD and welcome to the community!

As it seems you are already getting formatted dates in Excel, it should be easy to solve the issue in excel by formatting the cells there as just dates. You'd need to do this if you want to get just a date anyway as the fields are exported from Jira as Date/Time fields.

Hello @RamithD ,

You can configure how dates look in the Jira UI from the Look and Feel page in Jira Admin settings, as referred to in this support article.

However, as I said, what your dates look like in Excel, is defined in Excel - not Jira.
