Change ticket assignment (Desactivated User)

Dear Atlassian Team,

Is there a way to change ticket assignment from an old existing jira user with a deactivated account to another jira user ?

Sure. You can do this one by one or you can perform a bulk update. If the later is desired do the following:

  1. create a JQL query like this - Assignee = old-user and status != Done (tweak this to meet your needs)
  2. click on the ellipses in the upper right and select bulk update
  3. progress thru the screens to edit the issues and change the assignee

note you need to have admin permissions for this.
