Changelist doesn't appear in JIRA source Tab

Marcin Łosek April 19, 2012

Sometimes people forget to put ID of he task to the changelist (for example perforce repository) and it's not visible in a Source tab of concrete issue in JIRA. Is there a possibility to rescan this specified changelist and fix that changelist will appear? I tried using option: Perforce Changelist (in tha repo Maintenance section of Fisheye) and specify the number of the changelist to rescan but it doesn't helps in connction with JIRA. Only complete re-index is a possibility? What is the impact to finished revision, tasks etc. of complete re-index?

Hi Marcin,

Unfortunately you will need to do a complete re-index for FishEye to pick up changes in your Perforce repsotiroy where history has been changed. While the re-index is occurring, the newer history which has not been indexed yet will be unavailable, but once re-index is completed there will be no impact on existing data that has not changed.

Kind Regards,
Richard Stephens
