Changing card layout in kanban board

I am able to change the card layout in kanban board when I use the Jira web, but in the Mac app I don't have this option. What am I missing

Hi Brad,

The Mac app for Jira Cloud cannot currently configure board settings like you can in the web interface.  Not all feature in the web interface will exist in the Mac app. I have create a feature request for this ability in app over in JRACLOUD-75048. 

I would recommend watching this ticket for updates on this.

Are you in a classic or a next-gen project?

Next-Gem currently doesn’t have the option to customize cards. Classic ones are more complete and has more options.

We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of the “Board settings” in next-gen:

how do I know if I'm in classic or next-gen project?

Again when I use Jira on the web I can change the settings, only when I'm using the Mac app I don't have that option.
