Changing default assignee

Hello,

Could I please know if it is possible to change the default assignee when creating a task? for now it shows me only to choose between unassigne or project lead. But I don't want to choose project lead, I want to choose another user, or at least to change the project lead, so also I need to know how to change the project lead?

Are you able to choose a user other than project lead after an issue is created? If not it could be that only the PL has assignable permissions (project settings > permissions).
