Changing the custom field title removed all the old values of the custom field. Is there a way to change the title and keep the values?

Hi @Cyndalia Fernandes

just a wild guess: did you mean that you renamed a custom field and a filter does not show results anymore?

This would be nothing unusual until the filter reflects the new custom fields name (just updating it and save should help!).

Regards,
Daniel

Changing the name of a field has no effect on the data it holds on issues.

Do you mean that you selected a different field (with a different name) to look at?

Hmmmm… that doesn’t make sense to be honest. Can you share more details of your custom field type and how you changed the name? also when you say it removed all the values where exactly are you looking at this. What happened to the issues that had this custom field? Were they all set to none or something else?
