Changing the default language

I just purchased JIRA cloud and set it up with dutch as the default language. But in hindsight that wasn't the best idea. Since all the tutorial rely on the english version of JIRA.

Now I would like to change the language. I have seen plenty of posts of where to do this and I have followed these steps (see screenshot below). My default language is now set to "English (United States)". Yet it doesn't change a thing.

Am I missing or forgetting something?

I just noticed that I also had the dutch language set in my personal profile. Once changing that to english, the interface changed.

Isn't it possible in Jira to configure the default language to use the OS or browser language like in Confluence?
