Hi,
My Jira Service Desk Management is heavily relying on two external API to get data so that customers can create their requests.
Is there a way to show a ping or a traffic light by passing a URL in the dashboard?
My final goal is to give my ServiceDesk Agents a clue of when these APIs might be down so that they can alert customers with a banner message on the Service Desk.
Any other ideas or workarounds on how to achieve this are appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi @Andrea C
If you have any monitoring system you could implement the same in the tool to check for Status 200 response from the API and then if it's not online, use the tools' feature to send the email to a group of email who should get notified.
Thanks,
Pramodh
Hi @Pramodh M
Thank you for the reply.
That seems a valid solution. I was hoping for a more visual solution to show inside Jira but I guess it's not possible to do it at the moment.
Thanks again,
Andrea
