Choose JIRA Component to share the Dashboard

Can anyone tell me how to get the components in the edit and share dashboard, to choose a specific component to share the board? Screen Shot 2019-02-25 at 6.30.34 AM.png

You cannot do that because it is pointless. Sharing a dashboard is only useful for telling Jira which humans can see a dashboard. Your users are not components.

What do you think the system would do if you shared a dashboard with a component?

Forgive me, I come from ServiceNow background. I learnt just yesterday that components are just containers.

How could we restrict a dashboard to a specific group?
