Cisco Webex - Jira Integration error

Sandi Slavko

We have just started using Cisco Webex and am trying to integrate JIRA into our Teams Space.

When adding the website shortcut in the Cisco desktop app, I've added the URL for JIRA, and it allows me to login, and navigate to my projects -- but when I select a Project to view, I am getting an error message:

"Something's gone wrong.  Try refreshing or navigating to another page.  If you still see this message, our service might be disrupted.  Error: LHAX90"

I cannot find any type of documentation or anything on this error code.

Any help is appreciated as we will be moving away from Slack soon, and I really want to be able to integrate JIRA into our Webex instance.

*Note, other site URL's appear to work without issue.

Hi @Sandi Slavko ,

Would I be right in guessing that you're using the Cisco-provided Jira Cloud app for Webex ? Unfortunately I'm not able to troubleshoot issues with the app directly since we don't use Webex and the app is built/provided by Cisco themselves. I have a couple thoughts:

  1. Do you notice the error when following the same flow just in Jira itself in a browser?
  2. When mentioning "*Note, other site URL's appear to work without issue." - does that refer to other Jira sites you are a member on, or other applications entirely within Webex?

I didn't find any particular issues with Jira Cloud around the time of your post that might have caused Jira to throw an error rather than working normally - but if you were able to get other Jira sites to work, it would make me suspect something was not connecting correctly for that particular site in Webex. I might also suggest:

  1. Clearing the application cache for Webex on your local workstation
  2. Logging out / back in to Jira through the Webex bot app if possible. It's not clear from the Cisco documentation if this can easily be done, but it does mention authorizing Jira <-> Webex without giving a lot of specific information on how. If you can un-do and re-do that authorization, it might be something to try.

Hopefully some of that yields some results! If there's no change, I would suggest contacting Webex's support about the app , especially if you don't seem to have any problems following the same flow in your browser.
