Clarity on Jira Created v. Resolved widget

Which statuses are considered "resolved" in the Created v. Resolved Jira widget that can be added to Confluence pages?

Is resolved = the resolved option in JIra? 

We have custom states:

- In progress

- Waiting for a build

- Resolved/pending verification

- Closed

Hi @Bar T

It is not so much status-based - the two lines are:

  • Red: Number of issues created
  • Green: Number of issues resolved - where the field "resolution" is no longer empty

If for the statuses above you're not setting the resolution, you'll need to decide which statuses it should be set on and then either:

  • Check the "Set Resolution" option in your Board Settings > Columns (if simplified workflow)
  • Add a post-function to set the resolution, or add the resolution screen to a transition in your workflow (if complex workflow). More details on this can be found on this page

Note: This isn't the same for Next-Gen, where resolution appears to set when the issue reaches the last column - which is classed as "done".
