Clear Story Points after some time

Hi all,

is it possible to remove the value of the story points field some time after the story points field was updated?

The reason is, that I want to remove old estimates (after e.g. 6 months), so that issues have to be re-estimated before being included in a sprint. (after such a long time estimates often prove to be outdated or wrong because of changed circumstances, etc.

I already searched for ways to do this but did not find anything.

there is one way of doing this in post-function by selecting clear field option after transition

but if you want to clear the existing field then you have to make transition

I know only one way of doing this, don't have idea about add-on through which you can achieve this

Hi Ramesh,

that is not really what I need. I generally know how to clear values with a transition, but

- I do not want to do a transition

- I should just be cleared IF the value is older than 6 months.

Perfect would be, if the issues with old values could easily be found via JQL (probably not possible) or via the API.
