Good morning, I have a client who has recently made changes to their okta configuration. When trying to log into my companies JIRA, they are now getting a 404 error when the system attempts to authenticate the users password.
When they hit the Project URL & put in user id (email), it throws a 404. Other users have the same issue.
Recent changed- client had 2 JIRA instances, 1 was disabled which resulted in the 404 error.
When they hit the Atlassian site, it tries to initiate a SAML call back to Okta at the client.
I'd recommend you advise your client to get their Level 3 IT support engineers to investigate the problem and to direcly liaise with the support team at OKTA.
Such problems are generally outside the scope of what can be resolved here on this public community forum.
