I really would like to see a client role in Jira Next-Gen as we know from Jira Classic, so we can have internal team discussions within a Jira issue, which are shielded off from clients.
Another pleasant feature as seen in Jira Classic, would be if we can create internal issues on the backlog, which are in their entirety not visible for client roles.
Is this on the roadmap for Jira Next-Gen?

Currently, on next-gen, we have only three roles and as it's independent projects, we can't use the same roles from Classic or create new ones for next-gen.
We have a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:
Related to internal issues, as users' permission is not available, we can't hide issues from users. We also have a suggestion for this:
