Close Stories & sub tasks in Stories in an EPIC when EPIC status changes to Cancelled

When I change the status of an EPIC to cancelled I would like the stories & sub tasks in the stories to also all be updated to a cancelled status using automation rule. I am using Team Manager JIRA.

I can get the first part to work but not the sub tasks in the stories.

Hi @darren.johnson 

Could you create 2 automation ?

1 to Cancel Stories under Epic (the one you did)

The second to cancel subtask under Stories ?

Do not forget to check  "Check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule. Only enable this if you need this rule to execute in response to another rule." in the detail section.

That's fixed it I was not ticking the check to allow other rule actions to trigger this rule when using the two rule approach.
