Hi Team,
Jira tickets already closed has gotten a new sprint, see example in attached pictures. It has been like this for a long time.
Please help how to prevent adding closed issues to active sprint.
Thanks,
Alby
Hi Alby,
The board looks at the last column to know when an issue is "done", it does not look at status category or resolution, just "is the issue in a status that is mapped into the right hand column".
If an issue is not in the last column, then it's not done, so it will appear in your backlog, and it will move into the next sprint if you end the current one.
Check your status to column mappings, and also that your board filter does not exclude any status that is mapped. (Ideally, all possible status for the issues should be mapped, but there are times you would leave a status unmapped)
Hi @Alby Siby
Very interesting problem to have.
I can see the resolved date is the same as the end of the previous sprint EDGED-15298 was part of. There is a KB article on possible causes for this and how to diagnose.
Few questions from me to triage:
Thanks,
Danny
