Cloud: how can I hide Tempo loggings completely from a group of users?

Stefan Müller June 5, 2018

Hi, I've seen that there had been a number of questions about this topic, but most of them some years old. So, I try it again.

I want to set up a common project for a team of internal and external stuff.

I managed to set up the permission scheme respectively, but loggings are still visible in the issue's activity stream. Since we're using cloud, I don't think that any code based solution will be possible.

Maybe, there are some fancy workarounds?

Thanks for all helpful tips!

Hi Stefan,

When logging work in Tempo, the worklogs are synced back to JIRA and are shown in the Activity module in the Issue view. They are "anonymized" and show as being made by "Timesheets".

The Activity module is a JIRA feature and can not be hidden or disabled.
