Cloud to Cloud migration

I need a suggestion on Jira Cloud Migration.

We need to Migrate 2 Orgs together.

So is it better to move all the project from both the Instance in New Jira (OR) Migrate from one to another in the existing one.

Also if we migrate the Projects from one to another in the existing Instance. Then, can we change the Name of that existing one?

Do we have that option?

You can use the cloud-to-cloud migration tool for both of your scenarios - which is better is down to you - for example...

• Is one instance better than the other? Or do you want a fresh start?
• Could you benefit from starting a new instance (eg. only migrate some Projects, leaving others and their configuration behind)?
• ...etc

In terms of changing names, do you mean...

• Change Project Names? If yes, I'd recommend ensuring the names/keys are all unique between the two instances before starting the merge, to make it simpler.
• Change the Product's URL? If yes, see these instructions for more information.
