Cloud version - user name and full name

Hi,

We are using the cloud version.

The full name is used in the issue (reporter, assignee) instead of the user name.

How to change it ?

Because the user name is much shorter to display on a the displays. Repotrs are getting longer with the full name ...

Change your full name for your Atlassian account to be your user name.

It is indeed an obvious option but not the right one. Feels like abusing a field …

It is a bit abusive really.  Jira tries to use human's real names because that's the friendliest way to do it.
