Hi All,
Was looking for some help. I have a project set up within JIRA for my department. We have it set as a KANBAN board project and we just use this to distribute and monitor task completion within the department.
However, there is now a need to for another department to work on specific tasks within our project. But as they are not under the same hierarchy my boss doesn't want them added to this project as he wants to keep it department specific. Is there a way to link tasks to another project so they appear in both boards across 2 projects?
I understand this isn't really the point of JIRA as it contradicts collaboration between teams, but this is just a request from senior leadership.
All help appreciated.
Cheers,
Gary
Hi @Gary
I f you are using company managed projects in a Jira cloud solution you can. The filters of the boards would need to be adjusted.
Also the users from the other project would still be granted the right permissions to work on the issues from the other project.
