Colour scheme for jira deployments

How can I change colours for jira deployments?

The colours for 

• Non-production deployment
• Production deployment

are identical, the only minor difference is the icon has reversed mark.

We'd like to make it more distinct, say set the colour to dark green instead.

You can also use the announcement banner to indicate that the instance is non-production. If it can’t be toggled off, the banner will make it clear to users that they’re not working in a live environment.

Additionally, the banner is useful for announcing other relevant information related to that instance - such as scheduled maintenance, test data usage, or feature testing notices.

the section Change your Jira site's colors has only these two settings.

Choose a colour scheme for the main horizontal navigation bar.

• Background - The background colour of the main navigation bar
• Highlight - The colour of the create button and highlight colour for the selected navigation item

@Martin Jones That is correct.  There are very limited colors that you can change.  You should look at changing the background.
