In a Kanban Board used to monitor the progress of Epics, we have three columns based on global statuses of our workflow (To-do, In progress, Done).

Is there a way to customize the columns with additional values that are not mapped in the global workflow?

Namely, we need to split the "To-do" column into multiple columns, such as "Analysis required, Ready to implement,...".

Hello @Sara Graziano

Welcome to the Atlassian community!

You would need to have a different workflow for the Epic type issues. Only Jira Administrators can create, modify, and apply Workflows.

You will need to contact the Jira Administrators for your Jira system to make your request for this change.

This applies to Company Managed projects in Jira Cloud. You can identify if the project is a Company Managed project by looking at the bottom of the left-side navigation panel, where it will say the project is either company-managed or team-managed.

For a Team Managed project the Project Administrator can modify the workflow. However, Jira Administrator often disable the use of Team Managed projects for various reasons, so that option might not be available to you.
