Comments Email is not being sent when goes out with an attachment

Hi

When someone adds a comment to JIRA the email is sent out as expected which is great, however when a user clicks on -
More > Attach Files and adds a comment and an attachment the comment email doesn't send.

Does anyone have any ideas how these emails can be triggered ?

Sam,

This is probably happening because when the user adds the comment in the Attach Files screen, the event is the Issue Updated and the user is not set to get this notification.
