Can an Administrator user (on a Company-managed Software project) can affect/change issue type for more projects that he's not even member of them?

By changing his project settings

Hello @rtamam

Hope you are doing good.

To answer your question, if by "Administrator user" you mean a Project Administrator, with no Global permission to administer Jira then no, they cannot.

However, if you're referring to a Jira System Administrator and the issue type scheme being edited is linked to multiple projects, then yes, it will have an impact.

Hello @rtamam not that I am aware of. Project Administrators can only view the configurations available for their project, but they wouldn't have the authority to change the issue type scheme if it was shared across multiple projects.

Hope this Helps!
