Company-managed project can't see Affect Version field

Why can't I see Affect Version on a project that has versions/releases? I can "assign" the ticket to the issue configuration, but it doesn't show up. How to I modify just the bug issue types to I can show the field?

Have you added the field to the proper screen?

Check if the field is there.
