Hi everyone,

Hoping you can assist me with the following.

There are several sub-tasks that have been completed and moved to "Done" in the previous sprint; however, the associated user story (for which the sub-tasks sit) is still in progress due to other sub-tasks which are outstanding.

When I complete the sprint, the sub-tasks that are "Done" carry over to the new sprint. Is this the expected behaviour? Or is there a way I can configure the settings such that the sub-tasks that were "Done" do not carry over to the new sprint?

Many thanks!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, that is correct.

Sub-tasks are not really sprint items, they're only seen in the sprint display because their parent story is in the sprint and they are a piece of it.
