Component Manager

We have "Component lead" field for each project where we can assign the name of the lead.

Similarly, can we have "Component Manager" where i can assign a manager for one or more components.

Hi,

There is no native feature for configuring component manager, which by the way is very similar to component lead.

I would suggest to use component lead. The component lead can then reassign issues to project members.

If you need additional features in regards to component, you can have a look at the markeplace.

But Iwould sugest to stick to the basics for now.

Thank you for the prompt response and suggestion.

The intention of the new field was from the point of report generation at the manager level rather than a lead/engineer level.

Looks like what i intended cannot be achieved as of now.
