Component Rapid Boards

Is there a way to set up rapid boards and versions (to manage releases) that are under one project in Jira but different components.

Hi Elizabeth

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to achieve, but regarding new boards from GreenHopper, sprints are managed by a custom field called SPRINT (a GH field) and no longer by a version from a JIRA project.

Also, the new boards use a JIRA filter to retrieve the issues so you can make changes on the filters used by the board to suit your needs (mapping for components, for example) .

So, could you please try to explain a little bit what you're trying to do?
