We're heavily using JIRA email notifications. If someone changes multiple values within the same issue, we get a notification for each value which is not really the way it should be. I have searched around the web and found many people asking the same, however there seems to be no solution so far. Is this true, or has someone found a workaround?
It would be great if we could send a notification for all changes a person made during the last n minutes.
At this point there isn't an option to aggregate chagnes in the past x minutes then send a digest of all those changes. If you're receiving emails for every change then I'm going to guess that you're in-line editting a lot of fields. If that's the case then you can click "Edit" in the top left of the issue and make a lot of edits there and save. That will then only send you one update. This is of, course given that users have edit permissions.
We also have a standing improvement request where you can leave your toughts/interest for this feature.
That still hasn't been addressed. Changing to a drop down menu with options to fill a form of changes and submit would be nice
