Configuration Manager for Jira: Will an import with issues override the current issue data?

Say a snapshot was taken of a project using CMJ, including the project's issues.

After this a bulk update was performed on the issues in the project.

Can the CMJ snapshot be used to restore those existing issues to their original state if the import needed to be rolled back?

You can take a backup snapshot before implementing the changes.

If the current one didn't give the expected result, use the backup snapshot.

Moreover, the plugin give you option to merge the changes.

@Ashley Honeycutt It has been a while since I used the product.  I believe it does the following:

• You can overwrite everything with the snapshot.
• You can select what you overwrite from the snapshot
