Configure tasks to change status automatically

Hi.

I am working on the version of Jira Server 7.1.0 and I have the following question:
Is it possible to configure tasks to change status automatically?
In the project where I work there is a policy for document approval and I would like to know if it is possible to make a configuration so that after two days the tasks change status automatically.

I don't know that it's possible without an add-on, but we do something similar using Escalation Services provided by the ScriptRunner add-on.
