Hello,
I want to log confluence such these actions below, but audit log can not log them. How can I log them? Should I use audit logging or logging and profiling?
- The user view the page.
-The user download xxx page.
-Admin added xxx permission. ( I can log these actions on Audit Log)
What is your suggestion to me... Thanks...
View and download are the same thing really - a page has to be "downloaded" by the browser in order to display it.
Confluence does have an analytics system you can enable, but it is very simple and does not scale well (we can't recommend it for medium to large Confluences). I'd recommend you look in the marketplace for one of the analytics plugins - analytics for confluence or viewtracker for example.
Hi Murat,
we use the PageView addon from the marketplace (Very cheap) to get a page view / space / site statistic in Confluence.
Another way is to include some Google Analytics tokens in your pages or use an open source tracker like Matomo.
Third option would be to send the log files into an analytics environment like Elasticsearch (ELK) stack.
Best
