Confluence Sum Story Points by Status within Component

Hi 

I have searched the internet  the community etc. for a solution to what I consider to be a very simple question.

I can easily run a JIRA filter from Confluence to sum up issues.

What I cannot do, it seems, is run a filter to sum up story points.

We have Components / Component Versions  / Epics / Stories as a hierarchy

So, for each Component  and Component Version, by story status, I want to know how many Story Points there are.

I want to run this weekly, so that over time I can see how the numbers are reducing in a table in Confluence - to have a view on whether the stories will be ready for critical dates.

Please help!
