Confluence page link is not getting linked to Jira issue but issueKey is linked to Confluence page

Greeshma A R September 11, 2018

Hi All,

I am using Jira issue/Filter macro to link jira issue with it's corresponding confluence page. I am creating confluence page while cloning an issue.Page is getting created in confluence and can be see the issue key in the page, but link of the page is not getting linked to Jira issue.

Same is working when I am creating confluence page while creating an issue. In this case, confluence page's link is getting linked to Jira issue.

Please help me on this..

Hi Greeshma,

If you are using the new issue view, Confluence links will not appear on the Jira tickets.
I've tested here and linked a page on a ticket and it indeed does not appear if I use the new issue view.
We have a feature request related to this issue:

For now you must use the old view to be able to see the Confluence links on the ticket.

If you are not using the new issue view and the links are not appearing, can you please send us the steps to reproduce?

Regards,
Angélica

Hi Angelica,

What is this new issue view and old view. I can see only one view in jira. I am using jira server not cloud.

Hi Greeshma,

I'm sorry for the confusion, I thought that you were using a cloud instance.
I saw that you opened a ticket with our support related to this issue.
I'll be watching the ticket and once it's resolved, I'll post the resolution here as well.

Regards,
Angélica
