Hi there
My collegues are trying to link a Kanban issue to a Scrum sprint on another bord. The bord DES is a Kanban (teammanaged project). In one issue my collegues added a field 'sprint' and added sprint 3 of another project there (see screenshot DES-13).
When they search for this issues on the Scrum project (see screenshot Scrum board) they don't see the issue (this project is a companymanaged project)
Is there a way they can also show this Kanban issue on the Scrum project?
Thanks in advance! Kind regards
Joh
Question- is the scrum project CMP? TMP and CMP do not play well together.
question - can you share the scrum board filter? What displays on the scrum board is governed by the filter. Your filter may not be including the TMP project.
Jira doesn't have "Kanban issues" or "Scrum issues" or "other methodology issues". An issue is simply an issue.
To get an issue into a sprint, it has to a) be enabled for sprints (have the sprint field available) and b) appear on a board that includes the desired sprint.
Then you can include it in a sprint. a) is exactly what you've done in your first screenshot - it has the sprint field, and you've set it.
So I suspect your problem is the second part - it might well be in the sprint, but is it on a board that includes the sprint?
Can you go to the board that created the sprint (or any other that shows it), and look at the board filter? Would the filter naturally include DES-13 if you ran it in the issue navigator? Also, check that the current status of DES-13 is mapped into a board column.
