Connect a single GitHub to multiple Jira Cloud Instances

We are going through migration.

We acquired a secondary Jira Cloud instance, ie 'Cloud 2'. Cloud 2 has GitHub for Jira integrated against that organizations GitHub instance, ie 'GitHub 2'.  We will be migrating Cloud 2 into our primary corporate Jira Cloud instance that we are setting up currently, ie 'Cloud 1'. 

My question is, can we connect Cloud 1 to GitHub 2 to test our instance while leaving the Cloud 2 > GitHub 2 connection set up? Does it allow for this or do I have to sever any connection to GitHub 2 in order to reconfigure it to connect to Cloud 1?
