Connecting to Oracle Database

Hi all,

I was trying to install Jira 8.15.0 with the Oracle database with the below configuration

Hostname: localhost

Port: 1521

Service: xe

When I click on the Test Connection button I received the error message: You have specified a database that is not empty, please specify an empty database. If you want to upgrade an existing installation, please follow these instructions instead.

Anyone could help me in setting up Jira with the oracle database.

You need to give the service an empty database to work with.  The one you have tried to connect it to already has some data in it.  You'll either need to create a new empty database for Jira to use, or clean out the data that is in the database you're trying to use (after checking what it is and that whatever put it there does not need it of course)
