Hi Team,
I have a big excel list for resource planning and I need a direct connection to Grip Jira to have the updated data without manually steps.
As of now I´m exporting the data via csv to excel and update then the data in xls with my export.
And to avoid this manual step, I would be great, if I can use any automatic interface to get the data form Jira in my xls sheet
My goal is, that I have a direct connection between Jira and Excel, that my tickets updates automatically in excel
Can someone help on how we can achieve this?
Thank you!
Use Better Excel Exporter with a custom template to get the exact XLSX output you look for.
And, even make the process automatic by introducing Better Excel Automation.
(Discl. both apps are developed by our team.)
I'm from the team behind the app Excel 365 Connector for Jira which allows a 2-way communication Jira <=> Excel
You can import Jira data to Excel (with use of favourite filters or just by typing JQL), then you can make changes/updates and export it back to Jira. Our app also allows to create new issues straight from the Excel.
It works in multiple sheets, so you can have different data in each sheet

Hi @Trudy Claspill ,
Thank you for your swift response.
But the plugin you suggested is not available for JIRA DC version. Any DC version plugin is available in marketplace?
Thank you!

Hello @Kanaka Ponnuru Prasad
There are third party apps in the Atlassian Marketplace for that.
Here is one for Jira Server:

I have not used it. There may be others available.
